Troglodillo sp. "Green Spot" has been in the hobby for quite a few years, and although the collection data is minimal, appears to have originated from SE Asia. Some sources state Vietnam, while other locale specific cultures are recorded as from Guangxi, China. These isopods are wide, robust, and flat, while sporting a beautiful dorsal decoration of green and yellow flecks. They need a dry area to retreat to, but still require higher humidity, so it's recommended to spray the outer portion of the habitat only. Some sources also cite that these are Trogodillo rotundus, other state that there is a possibility of hybridization between and it is several different species and locales.
