Product Details
One of the more unusual additions to the menagerie of a seasoned terrarium-maker is this fuzzy little oddity from Ecuador, as the name would imply. Not only is this tiny vine a rampant grower that sprawls out in a number of directions; but the hairy, diminutive leaves blush a deep purple under higher terrarium lighting; with a striking, highlighted silver vein that punctuates the middle of each leaf. One of the most interesting facts about this plant is the genus it’s in; which is the exact same genus as two household food plants-the tomato and the potato! Propagation is quite easy with stem cuttings; and the plant itself is no trouble to grow so long as it’s kept in high humidity and not drowned with water.
