Snake plants have been cultivated as a houseplant since the 20
th century. The parent species of ‘Jaboa’ is native to tropical West Africa. This variety is known for a bit more of a wider leaf that’s dark green and can sometimes have some lighter green or silver flecks. Some cultures believe that snake plants attract good fortune. It also good to note that snake plants give off a lot of oxygen, so fill your entire house with them! This plant is very easy to care for as it can tolerate many different ranges of light. It will do best in bright. Indirect light but can tolerate low lighted areas. These plants are drought-tolerant and should only be watered when the soil has completely dried.
