The Golden pothos is known scientifically as Epipremnum aureum. This gorgeous pothos has a base color of green, and produces yellow varigation. Pothos is one of the most widely kept houseplants, and is highly tolerant of a variety of conditions. It can be trained to crawl and vine along trellises or walls or trail down from a hanging pot. The waxy leaves makes it resistant to damage and a great terrarium plant for reptiles. The aureum variety is beleived to have originated from the Solomon Islands.
