This variety, ‘Global Green’ has been the progenitor of numerous clones that are now quite popular amongst the houseplant hobby. ‘Global Green’ produced ‘Pearls n’ Jade’, which in turn has led to almost a dozen cultivars itself. However, ‘Global Green’ itself is a marvelous plant on its own; a smaller, contorted-leaf form of Epipremnum aureum with a beautiful stripe of minty-green variegation stretching down the midrib, stable through propagation. One interesting tidbit about ‘Global Green’ is that it is essentially incapable of producing mature foliage; when put on a moss pole or other support, the plant will attach to it, yet won’t progress to a more mature growth stage.
