The "rust" mutation is the orange morph in dilatatus, and the first dilatatus morph I've seen! This mutation causes an orange color in the culutre, I would compare it to that of the inside of an acorn squash.
Dilatatus resemble scaber, but huge. These isopods adore burrowing and make complex tunneling systems throughout their entire setup. If you think they may have disappeared on you- take a quick dig first and discover their tiny subterranean city.
