It gets the name Moon Valley because the leaves resemble the lunar surface. It originated in Central and South America as it’s a tropical plant that thrives in warm and humid environments. This plant has tiny, cute pastel pink flowers. To care well for your new Pilea you’ll want to give it a high humidity environment, a light to semi shaded spot, regular watering, but it’s important to note that the soil needs to dry up properly between waterings as it is prone to root rot.
