Though this species seems quite similar to Philodendron hederaceum itself; micans has a very special twist. The leaves are covered in sheets of pillowy satin velvet that make the whole plant itself glisten and glitter, a truly incredible sight. This species is somewhat more susceptible to damages than regular P. hederaceum; from things like sunburn, pests, and root rot, but these are just general sensitivities. Micans is incredibly easy to propagate, and a very fast, robust grower that can yield dozens of new plants from just one vine.
