Product Details
There is little that’s cuter in the plant community than the miniscule Peperomia emarginella; a tiny pepper-family vine from tropical South America that makes its home clinging to the moss-covered branches of lofty canopy trees, creating minute cascades of tiny, glittering leaves that can glisten like a dew-covered spiderweb when viewed from afar. This species is only capable of growth in terrarium conditions; humidity of 85% or higher, and is not suited for a regular houseplant collection, though the closely related species Peperomia prostrata fills that role much better. For Peperomia emarginella, quick growth and rampant proliferation allow it to quickly establish itself in terrariums; rooting into wood, sphagnum or even the water repositories of bromeliads, it is the best kind of weed there could ever be.
