Pellionia Pulchra, also known as Watermelon Vine or Polynesian Ivy, is best suited to be a terrarium plant, but can be a houseplant as well. It has very attractive patterned leaves and is a trailing plant and is native to Southeast Asia. It has a very unique and lovely foliage of dark green and silver patterned leaves with red stems. This is a fun little plant to watch grow and is quite tough due to its succulent stems. It can be grown in part sun with only moderate watering, but also does well in shade with more watering. The leaves grow larger in the shade, but the coloration of this plant will be less intense than if it would be in indirect light.
