Lucihormectia subcincta "glowspot roach"
The males of these darling little roaches have bright orange raised spots on their heads. The females do not exhibit the orange spots, but both sexes share the endearing compact body type with accessory wings. This roach has been observed caring for its young, creating burrows and lining them with food. L. subcincta are native to South America.
Glowspot roaches do well in a moist environment with 1-2inches of substrate to burrow in. We recommend having a thick layer of leaf litter available at all time, and offering weekly vegetables for additional nutrition.
