Hoya Shepherdii is often called the "Green bean hoya" due to its long, thick leaves that really do look like green beans. It is native to the eatern Himalayas and Assam. This Hoya is another vining type that produced epiphytic roots to attach to other plants in the environment and grow upward. It enjoys high humidity and thrives on a weekly watering schedule, as well as bright, indirect light. If not offered support to climb and vine upward, it is a beautiful trailing plant in a hanging pot as well.
