The hindu rope hoya is thought to either be a subspecies or a mutation of the commonly kept carnosa species. This hoya has a peculiar growth habit of the leaves dimpling and curling around the stem, often exposing the undersides. This hoya grows very irregelarly; sometimes months without any sign of growth and then sending out tons of new vines and leaves in a month! They do well in indoor lighting, and making sure there is a total dry out period of the soil in between watering.
