Flakesoil is essential for beetles and millipedes, and is beneficial to many species of isopods. We make our flakesoil in house, and use it for our own beetles and millipedes which do great in it. Flakesoil is produced out of a multi-month process of breaking down the cellulose in hardwood flakes by means of fermentation and beneficial bacteria, to be a nutritional source for many invertebrates.
Our flakesoil is dried for shelf stability, rehydrate for use in setups and for beetles.
