This Begonia is native to New Guinea with dark bronze leaves, pink spots and serrated leaf edges. Begonia Serratipetala has gained the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit. This particular Begonia shares many features with begonia Arabian Sunset and Begonia Borneensis so do not be fooled. To keep your Begonia Serratipetala happy use a well-draining soil, water when it’s half dry and they do like moderate to high humidity.
