Begonia neocomensium was first discovered in Brazil. It is a shrub-like, thick fuzzy stems, compact growth with medium to large green veined leaves. This plant grows very well. It kind of reminds me of an umbrella shape or some-kind of plant you’d find in a Studio Ghibli film where you’d find Totoro standing under. The leaves can grow rather large if well taken care of. Treat this plant as you would most begonia.
