Commonly referred to as "the tiny pink begonia" or "fern begonia", this plant maintains a shrub-like growing habit and stays relatively small, only reaching about 6 inches in height and width. It is native to Colombia and Venezuela, and produces small white flowers with a pink inner flower. The leaves are small, oval and green with red stems that arch and droop causing the fern-like appearance. Like most Begonia, it thrives in high humidity, indoor lighting, and is a favorite for terrariums and fairy gardens.
