'Begonia Palmata’ is a type of Rhizomatous they grow from a modified stem called a rhizome. The leaves emerge from the rhizome and form a more or less ball-shaped plant. Begonia Palmata has beautiful spiky dark green edges with lime green variegation. Since this begonia stores water and nutrients because of its rhizome you will still have to provide good care, although they can survive some neglect, irregular watering and temperature variation. They require a well-draining soil mix, water only when the surface of the soil feels dry to the touch, they can survive in 50% humidity and are great for terrariums. They require bright indirect light.
