A smaller variety of Armadillidium, insulare is native to Sicily. Their pattern and body shape strongly resembles those of Venezillo parvus, but they are much larger in comparison. They have bright orange markings along their back. This species does will in a somewhat moist setup with decent airflow.
Insulare do well in tropical to temperate to semi-arid environments. They do like to eat soft bodied plants.
