A. gestroi is a beautiful species native to France. One of the larger species of Armadillidium, full grown animals may reach lengths past 2cm. All animals have a black body with large yellow spots, and a small amount of the population displays white skirting.
Gestroi do well in temperate to semi-arid environments. They may have issues molting in tropical environments, and like to eat soft bodied plants.
