Armadillidium cf. pallasii (formerly frontisotre)
Armadillidium cf. pallasii is native to Southeastern Europe and found as far south as the Mediterranean basin. It has been distributed under the name "frontisotre" which is a synonym or a renaming of "pallasii". The "cf." stands for "confer", which means it is similar to pallasii but not an exact ID of the species.
This is a non-specific locale, slightly smaller than the Croatian variant.
This is a large species that enjoys rotten wood, calcium and occasional protein. They breed year round prolifically and reach fantastic sizes. They do well in environments similar to A. vulgare.
Pallasii do well in temperate to semi-arid environments. They may have issues molting in tropical environments, and like to eat soft bodied plants.
