This giant form of vulgare is a locale that was collected from Italy. They reach a peak size about 5mm larger than other forms of vulgare, and have larger, brighter spots in comparison to other wild types. Their reproductive rate is a tad slower, but these gentle giants are very sweet natured and wonderful to observe.
Vulgare do well in temperate and semi-arid environments. They are not recommended for tropical due to issues molting in high humidity. They enjoy eating many soft bodied plants.
