The "pearl" expression of nastatum is widely regarded to be how dalmation spotting presents in this species. Members of the culture vary from an all white appearace, to white with speckling, to a light grey- similar to naturally occurring pearls in the ocean.
Nasatum do well in temperate to semi-arid environments. They may have issues molting in tropical environments, and like to eat soft bodied plants.
