The naming of this culture is interesting, to say the least. "Frontisotre" is actually a name for a species that was already idenfied - A. pallasii. The "c.f." denotes that it is not this species, just very similar to it and is as close as experts have identified it.
This is a locale collected from Croatia; in comparision to the other "frontisotre" circulating in collections is is the same length but thicker across the middle.
This is a large species that enjoys rotten wood, calcium and occasional protein. They breed year round prolifically and reach fantastic sizes. They do well in environments similar to A. vulgare.
